Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 May 2026
This policy explains what data Quilltone (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and your rights over it. Questions: privacy@quilltone.com.
Data we collect
- Account: your email address and a hashed password.
- Content you create: brand profiles, topics, and the posts you generate and save.
- Connections: if you connect LinkedIn, an access token that lets us publish on your behalf when you ask.
- Usage: basic operational data needed to run the service (e.g. how many generations you’ve used this month).
How we use it
- To provide the core service — generating and organising on-brand content.
- To send you product and reminder emails you’ve scheduled.
- To publish to a connected platform (e.g. LinkedIn) only when you explicitly schedule or request it.
Service providers
We share the minimum data necessary with providers that run the service: cloud hosting, an AI text-generation provider, our email provider (Resend), and LinkedIn (only if you connect it). We do not sell your data.
Retention & deletion
You can delete your content at any time in the app, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing privacy@quilltone.com. Disconnecting LinkedIn removes the stored token.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise any of these.
Security & cookies
We apply reasonable technical measures to protect your data. We use a single token stored in your browser to keep you signed in — we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
